Local knowledge & technical expertise

Two professional photographers have decided to offer their local knowledge and technical skills to enable people to experience the best that Tasmania has to offer to photographers.

Loic Le Guilly

Loïc Le Guilly is a French photographer who moved to Tasmania after falling in love with a devil. After working as a photojournalist in Europe and a commercial photographer in his early years in Australia, he now focuses on nature photography in Tasmania.

Loic’s images often combine abstract sensuality with the fine detail of the natural world. His work is represented by the prestigious Wilderness Gallery, Cradle Mountain, as well as Handmark Gallery in Salamanca, Hobart.

Loic teaches landscape photography & digital imaging at TAFE in Hobart. He also teaches web design and programming with various corporate organisations.

Ian Wallace

Ian Wallace is a professional landscape photographer based in Tasmania. His work is represented in his own gallery in the historic town of Richmond and in his first book "Tasmania, portrait of an Island".

Ian’s images portray a traditional purist landscape style, combining technical photographic excellence with the majesty of Tasmania's diverse landscape.
